let’s get social!
“The body benefits from movement, and the mind benefits from stillness.”
~ Sakyong MIpham
Relationships go both ways, it’s important that you feel we’re the right fit for you.
We acknowledge this land where we breathe, sweat, learn, work, and play is on the traditional territory of many nations that have come before us.Breathing Room recognizes that we are on the combined traditional lands of the Cree, Dene, Blackfoot, Saulteaux, Nakota Sioux and Blackfoot Confederacy. We acknowledge the enduring presence of First Nation, Metis and Inuit people on this land. We are grateful for the opportunity to gather + breathe in the two Territories of 6 + 7, and to be in this community. We commit ourselves to the work of reconciliation amongst settlers and Indigenous peoples and we acknowledge that not all settlers were brought here by choice. Through this land acknowledgement, and through our work, our intent is to show honour and gratitude to the original and ongoing stewards of this land as a sign of respect and willingness to learn. We are mindful of broken covenants and the need to reconcile with all our relations. Being mindful of the ancestors and generations to come, may we care for this land and each other.
